For caulking & sealing contractors

Your crew logs the day in 60 seconds. The app does the fighting about money.

Metres, hours, materials and receipts — logged from the van before the doors shut. Client invoices, crew pay and QuickBooks all built from those same numbers, so Friday stops being a reconciliation argument. Built and run every day inside this caulking business, not by a software company.

You already know this week

The metres arrive by WhatsApp, half with photos, half from memory. Sunday night you rebuild the week in a spreadsheet. An invoice goes out short because one day never got reported. A bloke swears he did 120 metres, you have 90 written down, and neither of you can prove it. A receipt for parking turns up three weeks late.

We ran our caulking crew exactly like that. Then we built this instead.

One set of numbers, from the van to QuickBooks

Everything below runs in this business today. Nothing on this page is a mock-up.

1. The crew logs the day from the phone

Metres per product and gap size, clock-in to clock-out, materials used, expense receipts photographed on the spot. Works offline in a basement car park and syncs when the signal returns. Takes about a minute.

2. The week prices itself

Client rate cards price every day as it lands — including call-out minimums applied automatically and different pay for wide gaps. A day that can't be priced tells you exactly which rate is missing, and you set it right there.

3. Invoices without retyping

Weekly client invoices build themselves from the approved days, editable before anything is sent, then land in QuickBooks with GST done properly. The app reads QuickBooks back nightly, so “who still owes me” is a number on the dashboard, not a hunt.

4. Crew pay nobody argues with

Each caulker sees the same figures you see, taps “This is right” on their week, uploads their invoice, and the payment statement lands in QuickBooks beside the bill. If they disagree, they say so in the app — before payday, not after.

5. The overnight robot

Clean days sign themselves off after a 48-hour cooling period. Crew who forgot to log get a WhatsApp that evening. Booking requests from your clients can be assigned automatically to whoever's free and capable — with a track record you can read before you trust it.

6. Your clients get a portal

They book work, attach photos of the job, and get a weekly work report sent from the app — so they stop ringing your crew directly.

Yours, not shared

You don't get a login on a shared platform. You get your own private Gapless — your own address, your own database, connected to your QuickBooks. Your numbers live where only your business can reach them, and we set the whole thing up with you: rates, products, crew, the lot. Updates and support are the subscription.

It fits any crew that reports days and metres or hours — caulking, waterproofing, sealing, painting, rendering — anywhere in Australia running QuickBooks.

See it running on a real business

Twenty minutes on a call. We walk you through our own live week, warts and all — the real numbers, the days that needed fixing, the ones the robot signed off on its own. No slideshow.

Gapless Crew is built and maintained by HRSG Group Pty Ltd, the company behind this caulking business.
